Dance Classes

We have dance based classes at our sites in Newhaven, Peacehaven, Seaford and Lewes.

 

 

Fun and uplifting, dance is a great way to get fit and have fun. With great music and awesome dance routines, you may even forget that you’re exercising!

Please note, some of our dance classes are for those aged 14+ and some are for those aged 16+. For all classes, we suggest wearing comfortable clothes and footwear that you can move freely in and bringing along a water bottle. If it's your first time to the class don't worry, our classes are for all abilities so please work at whatever level is right for you. Let the instructor know it's your first time and they will help you get started.

Zumba®

A fusion of Latin and international music and dance that creates a dynamic, exciting, effective cardio workout. These fun, easy routines feature interval aerobic training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body as you dance. Enjoy & have Fun!

Please bring: appropriate exercise clothes, footwear and water bottle.

This class is suitable for those aged 14 years and above.

Just Step

Step your way in to this fun fitness class learning choreography based around a step. With some amazing music to step along to this will be the most fun you’ve had in ages!

Please bring: appropriate exercise clothes & footwear, mat and water bottle 

Just Step is available to participate at Peacehaven Leisure Centre and Lewes Leisure Centre.

This class is suitable for those aged 14 years and above.

Pose Barre 

A ballet based fitness class that can be adapted for all fitness levels and capabilities. Barre is a combination of ballet, yoga and Pilates moves that help to sculpt, tone and strengthen your muscles while teaching you correct posture and balance

Pose Barre is available to participate at Downs Leisure Centre, Seaford.

This class is suitable for those aged 16 years and above.

Dance Fit

Dance Fit is a high energy, calorie burning and, most importantly, fun class! Working out to choreographed tracks, you'll dance your way to fitness in this music driven class. Getting fit just got fun and no dance experience necessary.

This class is suitable for those aged 14 years and above.

Retro Robics

We're throwing it back to the 80's with this low impact old skool aerobics class. Dig out your leg warmers, this ones gonna be fun!

Pose Barre Flow is available to participate at Downs Leisure Centre, Seaford.

This class is suitable for those aged 14 years and above.

Dance Fusion

With a  mixture of dance & aerobics moves this class is fun, energetic and definitely help to torch the calories. With both hi and lo impact options, there's something for everyone whatever your ability.

Dance Fusion is available to participate at Peacehaven Leisure Centre.

This class is suitable for those aged 14 years and above.
