At Wave, we understand the importance of inspiring active lifestyles and it’s just one of the reasons we are thrilled to introduce our NEW Junior membership for 11-13 year-olds and our Junior Plus membership for 14-15 year-olds.
Our Junior, Junior Plus and Student Memberships have been created to encourage those aged 11-17 years-old to get active and stay active by providing more opportunities for improved family fitness.
Membership offers unlimited swimming and access to gyms, as well as the opportunity to attend Group Exercise Classes for those aged 14+. It’s never been easier to engage young people in the fun ways to achieve an active lifestyle, either with a family member or independently.
A recent report from Sport England (Active Lives Children and Young People Survey 2019-20) showed that over 50% of children and young people are missing sport and physical activity in their day-to-day life (the average recommended time is 60 minutes per day!) – something we aim to change!
With Wave Leisure’s memberships, young people between the ages of 11 and 17 have the chance to try something new, increase independent exercise and create healthier habits in a fun and friendly environment.

Swimming is a great form of fitness and fun! An exercise to enjoy, this low impact sport can open an enormous level of independence and confidence.

We have exciting group exercise classes that are suitable for those aged 14-years plus. Including cardio and dance to HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) and water-based activities making being active fun and creative.
