Lewes Leisure Centre Pool Maintenance Update
Essential Maintenance Works at Lewes Leisure Centre Swimming Pool
From 5th December 2022 to 2nd January 2023, we are having essential maintenance works completed at Lewes Leisure Centre, to include the replacement of the pool filtering system. During this time the swimming pools at Lewes Leisure Centre will be closed for all public access.
Please note that during this time Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre in Newhaven and Seaford Head Swimming Pool will both remain open, and you will be able to continue to access swimming at these centres. FAQ's
Is the pool closing permanently?
We can assure you the pool is only being closed from the 5th of December to the 2nd January for essentials works. We are looking forward to seeing you again in the new year.
Can I still use the other pools?
Yes, Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre in Newhaven and Seaford Head Swimming Pool will both remain open and you will be able to continue to access swimming at these centres.
Can I use the gym and attend classes while the pool is closed?
Lewes Leisure Centre will remain open during this time for Gym, Group Exercise Classes, and Sport.
Can I still use the Sauna?
Unfortunately, the sauna will be closed while the pool maintenance works are being carried out.
Can I still use the changing rooms poolside?
The changing rooms poolside will not be available for use, but our other changing areas will be.
What happens to my swimming lessons in December?
If you are a Wave Swim School member and have lessons at Lewes Leisure Centre, these have been cancelled for the month of December. If you have not received contact about your lessons in December, please contact waveswimschool@waveleisure.co.uk
Can I use my membership at other Wave Centre's
Your membership with Wave enables access at any of our Wave Centre's in Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven or Lewes. If you have a question about your membership, please contact memberships@waveleisure.co.uk
