Water confidence from their very first splash - Join us for their first introduction to their swimming journey with songs, games and support to promote water confidence, skills and independence in a fun, friendly environment.
These classes are aimed at giving your child their first experience of the water, along with your guidance. That introduction is provided through songs, games and support and it aims to promote water confidence, alongside offering a social environment for both parents and children.
If you're looking for baby swimming lessons, our Discovery Ducklings programme is designed for little ones to get used to the water. If they're ready to be a bit more more independent, our Ducklings programme will help them move more on their own whilst still having you there with them.
The Swim England Pre-School Framework is the first stage of the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme. It promotes early water confidence and basic motor skills and underpins Learn to Swim Stages 1 - 7. It is linked to the Early Years Foundation Curriculum for Child Development and is delivered in a fun, friendly environment.
These sessions have a maximum of 6 children per class to enhance their learning and provide a calm environment.
This programme is for babies from birth with limited or no coordination through to little ones who are water confident and able to move independently. The programme is designed to be a gentle, fun and secure way for young children be introduced to the swimming environment to develop water confidence. A parent or guardian takes part in these sessions with their child. These sessions have a maximum of 6 children per class to enhance their learning and provide a calm environment.

The Duckling Awards are ideal for those children who have completed the Discovery Duckling Awards and are now more independent and capable of following instructions. This stage encourages swimmers to move more independently. A parent or guardian takes part in these sessions with their child. These sessions have a maximum of 6 children per class to enhance their learning and provide a calm environment.
